Skirt Hook & Eyes

Hooks and eyes are used similarly to snaps, but they have the advantage in that they can be used when the fabric edges are adjacent or overlapping, while snaps require edges that overlap.

Hooks are somewhat sturdier than snaps, because a snap is more likely to pop open than a hook, but hooks tend to unfasten more easily when jostled in different directions.

Sew on Hooks and Eyes for closing skirt or pant waistbands.
